Open Access Policy

Theory, Methodology, Practice is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution.

The objective of this Open Access Policy is to promote the widest possible dissemination and re-use of scholarly articles published in TMP, while ensuring that the intellectual property rights of authors are respected.

This policy applies to all articles accepted for publication in Theory, Methodology, Practice.

This Open Access Policy is effective immediately for all articles submitted to TMP following its adoption.

The journal’s open access policy does not allow Open Access for submitted and accepted (post-peer review, pre-copyediting) versions of the articles. It allows Open Access only for online first and published versions under a CC-BY licence.

Authors are encouraged to archive their article in institutional repositories or other appropriate platforms right after the publication, there is no embargo period.

When sharing or depositing the published article, users must include a direct link to the article's DOI (Digital Object Identifier) and acknowledge the original source (TMP) where the article was published.

TMP uses REAL and REAL–J repositories to ensure the preservation and accessibility of articles in case the journal's website becomes unavailable.
