On the concepts of information, informatics and administrative informatics

Abstract

The XXI. century is an undoubtedly era of the Information Society. Its real driving force are the computers and computer networks. Over the past fifty to seventy years, computers and informatics have penetrated step by step into all areas of military and then civilian life, including private life. However, there is no complete agreement on the most basic concepts, such as information, communication, information system, informatics, legal informatics and administrative informatics. The aim of the study is to contribute to the exploration of the content of these concepts and to present their relationship with each other. With a scientific need, but for the sake of clarity, and without the need for completeness, because the available frameworks are rather limited.
